We help communities survive crisis and rebuild stronger futures
Three Pines Charitable Association works to reduce vulnerability and strengthen resilience by linking emergency assistance with long-term, locally driven solutions that restore dignity and build lasting capacity.
Why We Exist
Across many African communities, crisis and recovery often form a recurring cycle. When emergencies occur, humanitarian assistance arrives to meet immediate needs. This support saves lives and restores dignity in difficult moments.
But once the emergency phase passes, many communities remain vulnerable. Livelihoods are fragile, local institutions are under-resourced, and access to essential services is uneven. Without stronger foundations, the next shock can push families back into crisis.
Three Pines exists to help break this cycle. We work to ensure that emergency assistance becomes the starting point for recovery, resilience, and long-term opportunity.
How We Turn Relief into Resilience
Three Pines works at the intersection of humanitarian response and long-term development. Our programmes are designed to address urgent needs while strengthening the systems and capacities that enable communities to thrive. Our work focuses on:
