Who We Are
Three Pines Charitable Association is a non-profit humanitarian and development organisation based in Cameroon. We work with communities facing persistent social, economic, and environmental challenges to reduce vulnerability and strengthen long-term resilience.
We were established in response to a simple but urgent reality: too many communities cycle between crisis and recovery without ever escaping vulnerability. Three Pines exists to help change that trajectory.
Our Mission
The mission of Three Pines is to advance inclusive development and humanitarian action by linking emergency response with sustainable, community-led solutions that strengthen local systems, build resilience, and reduce vulnerability over the long term.
This means we do not treat relief and development as separate efforts. We design interventions that meet immediate needs while laying the foundations for lasting self-reliance.

Communities that are resilient, self-reliant, and able to thrive with dignity in the face of humanitarian, social, and economic challenges.
Our vision is not charity without end, but communities with the capacity, confidence, and systems to shape their own futures.
Our Approach
We believe that humanitarian assistance is essential—but not sufficient on its own. Without intentional pathways to recovery and resilience, communities remain exposed to repeated shocks.
Three Pines works across the humanitarian–development nexus, ensuring that short-term support contributes to long-term outcomes. Our programmes are designed with communities, grounded in local realities, and focused on strengthening the systems and capacities that enable people to move beyond crisis.
